Founder Background

Robert E. Appelbaum is the founder of Effective Computing.

 

He provides specialty consulting in Distributed Computing, Software Architecture, Software Development, Project Management, Object Modeling, Requirements Gathering, and Database Technology. Over the last several years, he has participated in various phases of several large projects with enterprise requirements which have effectively leveraged technology such as CORBA, Java, C++, and Database. Prior to founding Effective Computing, Robert worked for an assortment of product vendors and consulting companies which provide enterprise caliber products or services. Companies include: Instinet, Lucent, AT+T, Sapient Corporation, Copeland Associates, Fidelity, Bloomberg, MBNA, Blue Cross, Boston Stock Exchange, and others.
